7th International Conference Technologies & Business models for Circular Economy (TBMCE 2024)
UM FKKT, in cooperation with SRIP - Circular Economy, managed by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Štajerska, is organizing the seventh international scientific research, professional and development conference Technologies & Business models for Circular Economy, which will take place from 4 to 6 September 2024 in Portorož at the Grand Hotel Bernardin.
For the seventh consecutive year, the TBMCE will bring together representatives from business, research and educational institutions, trade associations, governmental and non-governmental organisations. At the conference you will have the opportunity to listen to distinguished experts from Slovenia and abroad, meet creative companies and key decision makers. The topics of TBMCE will address the current challenges of technological development and the responsibility of society on its transition from fossils to renewables, from linear to circular. We will discuss trends, exchange ideas, share best practices and the latest insights on specific technologies, business models and successful projects that are already making a difference in the field. We will build new collaborations and connections for breakthrough projects of the future.
The event is held under the patronage of the Ministry of the Economy, Tourism and Sport and the Ministry of Cohesion and Regional Development. This year, EIT RawMaterials RIS Hub Adria, SPIRIT Slovenia and Pomurje Technology Park joined us as co-organisers.

You are invited to submit abstracts and full papers for the conference WCWM 2023, ”WORLD CONFERENCE on WASTE MANAGEMENT”, which will take place from the 24th – 25th August 2023.
Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, University of Maribor is an official partner of the conference WCWM, which is organized by ”The International Institute of Knowledge Management” (TIIKM), Sri Lanka. The 4th conference WCWM 2023 will be held online.
Deadline for abstract submission is 23th March 2023.
