Programsko jedro Materiali in tehnologije, odobreno na Internem razpisu za podelitev finančnih spodbud za razvoj znanstvenoraziskovalne dejavnosti Univerze v Mariboru z vidikov kakovosti, ustvarjalnosti, inovativnosti, internacionalizacije, odprtosti, prenosa znanja in sodelovanja z okoljem v okviru prijav projektov (Interni razpis 2023 in nadaljevanje Internega razpisa: Interni razpis 2025).

Vsebinski opis projekta

Programsko jedro Materiali in tehnologije združuje interdisciplinarno skupino raziskovalcev Univerze v Mariboru z različnih članic (FKKT UM, MF UM, FS UM in FERI UM), ki delujejo na komplementarnih raziskovalnih področjih analizne kemije, materialne znanosti, biomedicine ter optičnih in senzorskih tehnologij. Delovanje jedra temelji na povezovanju raziskovalnih področij in najsodobnejše raziskovalne infrastrukture z namenom razvoja naprednih znanstvenih in tehnoloških rešitev ter prenosa znanja v širše družbeno in gospodarsko okolje.

Raziskovalne aktivnosti jedra so usmerjene v razvoj, karakterizacijo in optimizacijo naprednih funkcionalnih materialov ter v uvajanje sodobnih analiznih metod za poglobljeno razumevanje njihovih površinskih in strukturnih lastnosti. Pri tem se sistematično povezujejo eksperimentalni in podatkovno podprti pristopi, kar omogoča izboljšanje zanesljivosti, ponovljivosti in interpretacije raziskovalnih rezultatov.

V okviru programskega jedra se izvajajo vsebinsko povezane raziskave, ki vključujejo nadaljevanje raziskav na področju funkcionalnih materialov iz Internega razpisa 2023 in razvoj metod za forenzično analizo materialov z uporabo naprednih analiznih tehnik ter razvoj, validacijo in površinsko analizo optičnih senzorjev, ki se izvajajo v sklopu Internega razpisa 2025. Raziskave so podprte z uporabo sodobne raziskovalne infrastrukture in usmerjene v objavljanje rezultatov v vrhunskih znanstvenih revijah, predstavitve na mednarodnih znanstvenih konferencah ter v prenos znanja v prakso.

Programsko jedro prav tako aktivno sodeluje pri pripravi in oddaji projektnih prijav na nacionalne in mednarodne razpise (npr. ARIS, Obzorje Evropa, Teaming, M-ERA.NET), s ciljem krepitve znanstvene odličnosti Univerze v Mariboru, povečanja mednarodne prepoznavnosti, razvoja novih interdisciplinarnih raziskovalnih pobud ter dolgoročnega povezovanja z akademskim in gospodarskim okoljem.
