Funkcionalni polimeri s hierarhično generirano poroznostjo

  • Sinteza novih funkcionalnih polimerov v heterogenih medijih – suspenzija, emulzija z visokim volumskim deležem kapljične faze.
  • Fotopolimerizacija z verižnim mehanizmom ter s tiol-en klik polimerizacijo.
  • Uporaba metatezne polimerizacije z odprtjem obroča (ROMP) za pripravo zamreženih poliolefinskih struktur.
  • Kreiranje hierarhične poroznosti s post polimerizacijskimi postopki – hiperzamreženje.

Polimerni reaktorji in polimerni nosilci ter kombinatorna kemija

  • Priprava novih zrnatih in monolitnih polimerov za aplikacije v sintezni in analitski kemiji, pri sistematičnem iskanju farmacevtskih učinkovin z metodami kombinatorne kemije, pri kolonski kromatografiji.
  • Študij lastnosti novih polimernih materialov z metodami vrstične elektronske mikroskopije, FT infrardeče spektroskopije, živosrebrne in dušikove porozimetrije.
  • Sintezna organska kemija na trdni fazi-uporaba polimernih nosilcev za sinteze strukturno analognih spojin ter za vezavo prebitnih reaktantov iz reakcijskih zmesi pod pogoji pretočnih tehnik.

Biorazgradljivi in biokompatibilni polimeri

  • Sinteza poroznih polimerov na osnovi polisaharidov in akrilatov s tiol-en kemijo za aplikacije v tkivnem inženirstvu in tkivnih kulturah.
  • Sinteza poroznih zamreženih polimerov akrilne kisline in akrilamida.

Polimerne porozne membrane

  • Študij mehanizmov formiranja raznih polimernih asimetričnih poroznih membran pripravljenih po postopku mokre fazne inverzije.
  • Uporaba na področjih raznih vrst ločevanja oziroma separacije: medicina (umetne ledvice, oksigenacija krvi), tehnologija pitnih in odpadnih vod, separacije v biotehnologiji ter kemijsko- farmacevtski industriji itd.
  • Kemijska modifikacija površine polimernih asimetričnih poroznih membran.
  • Porozne polimerne membrane iz emulzij z visokim volumskim deležem kapljične faze.
